So that’s the end of the episode? Aw, dang!
That one made me giggle like a maniac…all thanks to one character. Yeah, Pyrrha. I dunno…there are some characters that just really intrigue me (L) and the more I learn about them the more I like them (L) and they have unique mannerisms that you don’t see in many other characters (L) and their design is distinguishable (goshdang L from Death Note). Pyrrha’s that kind of case, I suppose. Her hair and color scheme got me from the start, and then – ah, I wasn’t expecting her to be so polite and moe.
That, and the fact that I am vaguely aware that there is a character named Scarlett somewhere in this show. I thought that Pyrrha’s name would be Scarlett due to her hair color, but the fact that it wasn’t caught me off guard! Ruby has been dislodged from her spot of favorite.
I liked Nora and Ren too, especially Ren for his stoicness. I wonder if Nora’s lying and they’ll become a couple, but as a first impression they make good friends.
And then that ending: I’m fully sympathizing with Ruby here, that partner system sucks. All four years, are you serious? I’m calling it now that Ruby and Weiss will be partnered up, but I don’t know about the others. I’m thinking it’ll be Nora and Ren, Pyrrha and Jaune, and Yang and one of those unnamed guys. She’s shaping up to be the most social lone wolf ever, if that makes any sense.
Anyways, it’s late and I don’t think I’ll continue with part II tonight, but I’m certainly excited to see what happens. Best of luck to our 7+ characters sent hurtling into the sky! And I’ll see you all next time!
